As promised, Samsung today released the One UI 7.0 Beta 2. The second beta update is now rolling out to Galaxy S24 users — it comes as the first beta build in India. Meanwhile, we may already have insights into the potential launch dates for Beta 3 and Beta 4.
Samsung Support reveals launch dates for One UI 7.0 Beta 3 and Beta 4
Last week, Samsung’s official chat support revealed that the One UI 7.0 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series will go live in the country on Monday, December 16. The update did drop today. As expected, the company rolled out the same build as Beta 2 in markets where beta programs were launched earlier.
Before this expansion, a Galaxy user enquired about Samsung’s One UI 7.0 beta plans in India. To their surprise, not only did the support team reveal the initial launch date, they even disclosed plans for the subsequent beta releases. According to Samsung Support, the next One UI 7.0 beta update will drop on the next Monday, i.e., December 23. It will be followed by another release on December 30, the final Monday of the year.
If true, Samsung should release One UI 7.0 Beta 3 and Beta 4 on these dates. However, we’d suggest you hold your horses. The Korean firm’s customer support is no stranger to providing incorrect information to Galaxy users. The same support team first claimed that India would get the One UI 7.0 beta program on December 12, before correcting themselves and saying December 16 a few hours later.
While Samsung will almost certainly roll out at least a couple more One UI 7.0 beta updates before dropping the stable version in late January, we can’t tell whether these dates are accurate. There could be delays for various unforeseen reasons. It’d be amazing if Samsung dropped four beta updates in less than a month. We will keep you posted.
