Samsung has packed the Galaxy S25 Ultra with numerous cutting-edge features, but one standout remains exclusive to the Chinese version. According to prolific leaker Ice Universe, who is based out of China, the phone offers Intelligent Drag and Drop. It enables effortless content sharing and integration across apps.
Galaxy S25 Ultra offers Intelligent Drag and Drop in China
The Intelligent Drag and Drop feature is an advanced tool designed to enhance productivity and streamline content management. It allows Galaxy S25 Ultra users to easily drag and share text, images, documents, and more directly from their screens. Ice Universe demonstrated the feature on X, and we’re truly impressed. You can check out the video below.
Continuing to introduce the Samsung S25 Ultra, this feature is unique to the Chinese version: intelligent drag and drop.

As you can see, Intelligent Drag and Drop makes sharing content from the screen a breeze. You can press and hold on a photo, text, document, or any other content on the screen to select it, drag it to extract it from its original location, and then drop it into the target app. The intuitive drag-and-drop mechanism makes multitasking smoother and faster.
The feature works incredibly fast, and the animations look smooth. Unfortunately, Samsung doesn’t offer the feature globally. As of this writing, we’ve confirmed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s Intelligent Drag and Drop feature is only available in China. It is likely tailored to cater to the unique demands and preferences of Chinese users, though people in the rest of the world would love to have it too.
We can’t tell whether Samsung plans to bring this feature to more markets with a software update in the coming weeks. The Galaxy S25 series could receive its first update any day now. New Galaxy flagships often have an update waiting out of the box. We will let you know when we have more information. The devices are currently available for pre-order.
