Take a Closer Look at the Galaxy S26’s Now Nudge Feature
We have previously showed off tidbits of the Galaxy S26’s big AI feature Now Nudge, Samsung’s take on Google Pixel’s Magic Cue feature. Thanks to a recent One UI 9 firmware leak, we’ve discovered even more traces of what this new feature is capable of.
So, what does Now Nudge even do?
Now Nudge is essentially a powerful, AI-powered autofill engine that appears in your keyboard and shows helpful suggestions based on the context. Ordering a product on a website? It’ll give you all the info you need to fill out the checkout form with one tap. In a conversation with a friend and they ask for photos from when you were at the theme park? They’ll appear as a suggestion, ready to send right away.
Planning an event with multiple people? Nudge will remember the important details, like the location, date, and time, so when someone asks when you’re meeting up, you can give them the time straight away. We found graphics that would be displayed at the top of a settings page. Based on these, we can guess what each part of Now Nudge does.
Now Nudge can help with a wide variety of tasks
We dove into the code and found a number of categories Now Nudge can recall information from, each with an accompanying icon. This includes, but isn’t limited to:
- Accommodation
- Beauty
- Coupons
- Cultural events or venues
- Education
- Equipment hire
- Exercise
- Flights
- Sports
- Government services
- Medical
- Vehicle rental
- Movies
- Restaurant reservations
- Transport
- …and much more
That’s a long list, and it’s likely only scratching the surface of what Now Nudge is capable of. This feature is likely to debut on the Galaxy S26 series, which will be unveiled very soon.
