Samsung has officially confirmed its partnership with the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Marvel fans — including some of us here at SammyGuru — couldn’t hide their excitement when we saw Spider-Man ditch his Sony Xperia for a Galaxy Z Flip, and now the company is finally letting us in on what’s cooking behind the scenes.

Samsung confirms Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 in Spider-Man Brand New Day

Peter Parker will be seen carrying the Galaxy Z Flip 7, while Ned Leeds relies on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and a Galaxy Watch. This isn’t random placement. The Flip’s compact form fits Spider-Man’s fast-paced lifestyle, while the Fold’s larger display suits Ned’s role as the tech brain behind operations. It’s product placement, sure, but it makes sense here.

Samsung is also launching a Spidey Tracker website inspired by the film. It lets fans track Spider-Man sightings and share their own. The company is teasing it now, and it will go live on June 17 at 3 p.m. ET alongside the second trailer.

The timing couldn’t be better. The film’s first trailer shattered records with massive viewership, putting Samsung’s devices in front of a global audience. With new foldables expected next month, this kind of spotlight is worth its weight in gold. It’s a classic case of striking while the iron is hot, and Samsung seems to know it.

In a statement, Samsung Electronics America’s CMO and VP of MX, Keena Grigsby, said:

“Incorporating Galaxy technology into such a beloved Spider-Man storytelling world gives us a chance to showcase how even your friendly neighborhood hero relies only on Samsung Galaxy. This is the perfect opportunity to double down on our belief that Galaxy devices are designed to help everyone stay connected — whether you’re taking photos with friends, keeping up with loved ones, or saving New York.”

Meanwhile, Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Global Partnerships EVP, Jeffrey Godsick, said:

“Spider-Man has always been a hero defined by his connection to his community. Teaming up with Samsung helped bring that spirit to life both on screen and beyond, integrating the technology people use every day into Spider-Man’s world while also bringing innovative and fun new ways for fans to engage through the Spidey Tracker.”
