Samsung may not be done rolling out One UI 7 beta updates. While the stable rollout begins on April 7, the company is seemingly preparing new beta releases for the Galaxy S24 and S23 series. The Galaxy A55 should also receive a beta update soon.
Galaxy S24, S23, and A55 may soon get new One UI 7 beta updates
New One UI 7 beta builds for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series have been spotted on Samsung’s servers, suggesting an imminent rollout. The build version is the same for both models (ZYCC), though it will be Beta 6 for the S24 lineup and Beta 2 for the S23 trio. Interestingly, Samsung’s community moderators previously discarded rumors about the company potentially rolling out six beta updates to the S24 series, calling them “speculative.”
The Galaxy S23 series received its first One UI 7 beta update for the lineup earlier this month. The Galaxy Z Fold 6, Glip 6, and Tab S10 series also picked up their first beta updates this month. The Korean firm has already rolled out Beta 2 for the 2024 foldable duo. It’s unclear if it plans another beta release for last year’s flagship tablets.
Well, this sighting of beta firmware on Samsung’s servers doesn’t necessarily mean the Galaxy S23 series will also get a new beta update, but chances are high. Additionally, Samsung has confirmed plans to release One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy A55 before the end of March. The update is yet to arrive, but recent developments suggest it may not be a too long wait now.
Samsung will release the stable version of One UI 7 on April 7, starting in South Korea. Galaxy users in the United States will receive the update on April 10. A global rollout of Samsung’s Android 15 update for Galaxy devices begins on April 14. We will let you know when the update arrives.
