After a long delay, Samsung has finally announced the One UI 7 beta update. Like in the past, the company isn’t rolling out the beta program globally. It is only available in select countries across Asia, Europe, and North America. Check out the full list of supported countries below.
Samsung has announced One UI 7 beta for these countries
The One UI 7 beta program is currently available in the following countries: Germany, India, Poland, South Korea, the UK, and the US. If history is any indication, the beta update should also launch in China soon. Samsung has historically run beta testing of its major updates in these seven markets. If you reside in any of these countries and use a supported Galaxy phone, you can join the beta program.
Users in the rest of the world must wait for the stable release to experience the latest software. Samsung has already confirmed that the stable One UI 7 update will arrive after the Galaxy S25 launch, which may happen on January 22, 2025.
For users in supported regions, the One UI 7 beta will first launch for the Galaxy S24 series. Typically, Samsung expands the program to other flagship and mid-range Galaxy devices later, so expect more to join the party later. The process to register for the beta update will be the same across all supported Galaxy devices. You can enroll through the Samsung Members app.
If you meet the requirements, you should see a banner for One UI 7 beta on the app’s homepage — you can download that app from the Galaxy Store. Click on the banner and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration. You might need to sign in with your Samsung account. Once completed, the beta update should roll out to your device within a couple of hours.
It arrives as a regular software update. You should receive a notification to install it. If you don’t, you can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Note that beta software may be buggy and unstable. If you plan to install One UI 7 on your daily driver, we advise you to wait for feedback from others before proceeding.
