A few days ago, a reliable industry insider shared valuable insights into the animations in Samsung’s One UI 7.0. Now, visuals of these animations have surfaced, showcasing their smoothness and fluidity. The upcoming update for Galaxy devices promises an enhanced, captivating visual experience.
One UI 7.0 animations bring a major visual refresh to Galaxy devices
While Samsung looks to be in no mood to release One UI 7.0 beta before December, leaks continue to build the excitement. Leaks have revealed plenty about the upcoming major update. Alongside a myriad of new features and enhancements, the update brings a UI overhaul with smoother animations for a visual refresh.
A video posted on X shows what One UI 7.0 animations look like. As you can see in this video, the next version of Samsung’s Android-based custom software offers a much smoother and more fluid navigation when pulling down the Quick Panel, opening or closing apps, and switching apps from the Task Manager.
As pointed out by renowned Samsung leaker Ice Universe, One UI 7.0 animations would look amazing on the Galaxy S25 Ultra thanks to its curved corners. The S24 Ultra has sharp corners, which don’t play nicely with animations. All other Galaxy devices already feature a curved design, so this allows for consistency across the Samsung ecosystem.
Over the past few months, several One UI 7.0 test firmware builds have been spotted on Samsung’s official server. The company must have improved the system fluidity with each new build. The final version, which will arrive in January or February next year, could bring further visual enhancements.
As far as the beta release is concerned, Samsung might drop the first beta version for the Galaxy S24 series in early December. It’s unclear whether the company plans to launch beta programs for other devices. The stable One UI 7 build will arrive with the Galaxy S25 series before expanding to other models. The new flagships are expected to launch in late January 2025.
