The third round of the One UI 7.0 beta is now live for Galaxy S24 users in select regions. This brings us one step closer to the stable One UI 7.0 update, which is set to drop shortly after the Galaxy Unpacked event. To sweeten the deal, Samsung is also rolling out a fresh update for the Messages app for those running One UI 7 beta 3.
Samsung Messages fixes image saving bug on MMS
Several users complained about issues when saving images received via MMS on Samsung Messages. However, the new Samsung Messages v16.0.10.13 update for Galaxy phones fixes the MMS image saving bug. It’s around 51.36MB in size.
If you have the One UI 7.0 beta installed on your Galaxy S24, you can go ahead and give the updated Samsung Messages app a spin. Alternatively, you can also grab the APK file for Samsung Messages v16.0.10.13 from APKMirror. While this update resolves the MMS image saving issue, it doesn’t introduce any new features to the app.
One UI 7.0 stable version will start rolling out soon
While Galaxy S24 users have had the chance to explore the cool new features in One UI 7.0 for a while now, Galaxy S23 users still haven’t had the opportunity to try out the One UI 7.0 beta. However, with Galaxy Unpacked fast approaching, the stable version is bound to land sooner rather than later. This means all eligible Galaxy devices will soon be receiving the One UI 7.0 stable update.
In the meantime, the upcoming Galaxy S25 series will ship with One UI 7.0 or 7.1 right out of the box, as confirmed by previous Geekbench listings and other leaks. Frankly, this was an easy prediction. In the past, Samsung would roll out One UI upgrades months ahead of the flagship event. But this time around, things have shifted slightly. So Samsung must be saving the big upgrades for the Galaxy S25 series.
