While smart rings are still considered a niche market, the Samsung Galaxy Ring has reportedly achieved impressive sales figures, according to Korean sources. The Galaxy Ring currently offers sizes ranging from 5 to 13, but finding the perfect fit has been a tough nut to crack for some. However, that’s changing. Samsung is expected to roll out two new sizes soon.
The good part is they weigh the same, regardless of size
According to reliable leaker Max Jambor, Samsung is expected to unveil two new Galaxy Ring sizes in January. Jambor provides more details about the upcoming sizes:
- Galaxy Ring Size 14 (SM-Q514) will weigh 3.2g and feature a 23mm inner diameter.
- Galaxy Ring Size 15 (SM-Q515) will also weigh 3.2g, but with a slightly larger 23.8mm inner diameter.
There will be eleven sizes to choose from: 5 to 15
Once the additional fits are introduced, the Galaxy Ring will offer eleven sizes, ranging from 5 to 15. For reference, size 5 has a 15.7mm inner diameter, while the largest size, 15, will feature a 23.8mm inner diameter.
For those still unsure about which size would fit them best, Samsung offers a sizing kit so interested buyers can check the right ring size before making the final purchase. It’s unclear whether Samsung plans to introduce even smaller ring sizes for the Galaxy Ring. But if size 13 still feels too tight, this may be your chance to try out the new options.
If you’re planning to buy the Galaxy Ring, you can get one for as low as $249.99 through the recently launched trade-in program in the United States.
