Recent developments, including cryptic hints from a trusted leaker, suggest the highly anticipated One UI 7.0 beta is imminent. Adding to the excitement, updated versions of several Samsung apps have already leaked, offering a glimpse of what’s to come. So far, we have seen the Calendar, Clock, Find, Voice Recorder, Reminder, Tips, and Calculator apps in leaks. Samsung Internet and Notes have also joined the party.
The One UI 7.0 updates for Samsung Internet and Notes have been leaked
One UI 7.0 is shaping up to be the biggest OS update in Samsung’s history. Leaks have shown a major UI overhaul and animation upgrades for a completely redefined Galaxy experience. The update will also bring tons of new features, including AI tools. While the stable build will arrive in January next year, Samsung will soon release beta programs to test the new One UI version. Ahead of that, leaks have revealed the updated apps.
The One UI 7.0 versions of Samsung Internet and Notes, shared by X user @GerwinvGiessen, don’t seem to bring anything new. While the icons have been updated, the features and user interface remain the same. It’s unclear whether the leaked apps are unfinished or if the upcoming update will bring no significant changes. Interestingly, some previously leaked apps also showed no noticeable updates.
The flurry of One UI 7.0 leaks in recent days indicates an imminent beta rollout. However, Samsung has yet to officially announce anything. A few days ago, the company prematurely revealed some UI changes, only to delete those later. Hopefully, it will soon release the beta update for the Galaxy S24 series. We expect it to open beta programs in these seven countries, with these Galaxy devices likely to receive the update.
As we mentioned earlier, the stable One UI 7 (7.0 or 7.1) update will arrive in January next year, alongside the Galaxy S25 series. Other eligible models will get the update following the flagship launch, which may happen on January 22, 2025.
