Samsung introduced a bunch of new features with One UI 7 for its Good Lock app. As the Korean firm is rolling out a stable One UI 7 update to several eligible Galaxy devices, it wants to introduce users to all the latest features of Good Lock. A few days ago, the company discussed the upgraded Home Up module, including the all-new DIY Home feature. Now, Samsung has taken the opportunity to introduce some popular features across Sound Assistant, Theme Park, and One Hand Operation+ modules.
Whatโs new in Sound Assistant, Theme Park, and One Hand Operation+ in One UI 7
The Good Lockโs Sound Assistant module has over 21 million downloads and is the most used module. It greatly assists with the audio experience on your Galaxy phone. This module allows you to fine-tune volume levels in increments from one to ten. You can also customize the volume panel to suit your taste.
One of its most notable features is the ability to manage and control the volume level for each app separately. When you push the volume buttons, you can choose whether it controls the media volume or the ringtone volume. If you want to prevent media volume from decreasing during navigation, you can also do that with Sound Assistant.
The next popular Good Lock module is the Theme Park, raking over 17 million downloads. It makes One UI the most customizable skin, as you can personalize multiple aspects of the skin to your personal taste. If you have a theme in mind, the Theme Park assists with the color combination. You can change the color scheme and look of the keyboard, quick panel, and even the messaging interface.
Based on a background image, the module can automatically generate a color palette that will match the image. In One UI 7, Theme Park also offers the ability to change app icon shapes and sizes, as well as the shape and color of home screen folders. You can also design custom folder icons of your own.
One Hand Operation+ is another popular good lock module with over 16 million downloads. It is also one of the most functional and practical modules, particularly for multitasking and one-hand usage. You can map thumb gestures to specific tasks you do frequently on your phone. It also supports both left and right-handed users, so you can map it accordingly.
You can set these gestures in both horizontal and vertical directions, which gives you the ability to create multiple useful gestures. It has the ability to refine your gestures further by adjusting the range of touch recognition. You can also adjust the intensity of the vibration that comes from these gestures. On top of that, One Hand Operation+ lets you configure gestures from the S Pen on supported Galaxy devices.
