Galaxy Watch 8 Deal Knocks 17% Off Ahead of Next-Gen Release

In about five weeks, Samsung will unveil the upcoming Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. But if you want to save some money right now, you should check out this current deal on the Galaxy Watch 8. It knocks $60 off the Watch 8, which is about 17% off.

Amazon is selling the Galaxy Watch 8 (40mm) Bluetooth variant for $289.99. If you prefer the LTE model, there’s a solid discount on that too, bringing it down to $339.99, again $60 off. Both deals are quite good and easy to recommend if you’re shopping for Father’s Day gifts.
Speaking of the Galaxy Watch 8, it comes with a slimmer, more refined design compared to the previous model. It features a bright Super AMOLED display with sapphire glass protection, which, in our testing, held up well even on hot summer days. You also get 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, which is plenty for apps and music. It runs Wear OS 6 with One UI Watch 8 on top.
On the health side, the Watch 8 includes all the usual sensors, like heart rate, ECG, SpO2, and body composition. It also adds improved sleep tracking and new fitness tools, such as running insights. Battery sizes vary slightly depending on the variant, but both are designed to last a full day. You also get GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, and optional LTE support.
That said, the current Amazon deal makes it worth considering if you’re in the market for a smartwatch and want to save some money. If you’re not in a rush, it might be better to wait for the Galaxy Watch 9, as it’s expected to bring a few upgrades over the Galaxy Watch 8.
