Samsung Galaxy A56 Full Specs Leaked Ahead of Launch

by | Feb 27, 2025 | Galaxy A, News

Samsung looks all set to launch the Galaxy A56 this Sunday, March 2. The company allegedly plans to unveil the new premium mid-range phone at MWC Barcelona and open sales sometime after the event. Leaks have already revealed plenty about the device, including its design, key specs, and prices. We now have the full set of specifications and a bunch of fresh images giving us a better idea of what Samsung has in the pipeline.

Galaxy A56 full specs leaked just days before launch

The Galaxy A56 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen allegedly comes with Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Interestingly, last year’s Galaxy A55 has Gorilla Glass Victus+, so that’s either a downgrade or incorrect information. The bezels appear slightly thinner but the overall front design remains the same.

However, when you look at the back, the camera design is completely different. Samsung is bringing back a camera bump on its 2025 mid-range phones. Only the external appearance changes, though. The camera hardware is still the same — 50MP primary shooter with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), 12MP ultrawide lens, and 5MP macro camera. The front camera does see an upgrade from an aging 32MP sensor to a new 12MP lens.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A56 runs Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1580 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM — there may be a 12GB RAM variant but it isn’t confirmed yet. The company might offer the phone in 128GB and 256GB storage options. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. Samsung will ship the phone with Android 15-based One UI 7.0, ensuring the latest software experience from day one.

Other highlights include an aluminum frame, 5G cellular connectivity, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, NFC, OTG, stereo speakers, optical under-display fingerprint scanner, and IP67-rated water and dust resistance. The Galaxy A56 has a dimension of 162.x x 77.5 x 7.4mm and weighs 197 grams. It lacks a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Stay tuned for the official announcement in a few days.
