Do you tend to crack your Galaxyโs screen more often than youโd like? Well, Samsung might have just the fix for you. Samsung is upgrading its Care+ subscription by adding unlimited screen repairs for Galaxy owners โ plus a new Theft & Loss package. According to 9to5Google, the update includes same-day repairs for cracked screens and back glass, all at no extra cost. These repairs are available at over 700 authorized locations, and you can even mail in your device for service.
Samsung Care+ unlimited screen repairs come with a small caveat
There are a few caveats to keep in mind, though. While Samsung Care+ promises โunlimited protection,โ same-day repairs are only available for eligible devices in certain regions. The plan covers most Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S24 series, but unfortunately, Samsungโs foldable phones arenโt included. (We might see the Galaxy S25 series jumping on board with this perk soon, though!)
The unlimited screen repair benefit isnโt just for the Theft & Loss package; itโs also available to standard Care+ subscribers. However, thereโs a $29 fee for screen repairs at any Samsung store. On the flip side, users with the Samsung Care+ Essentials plan wonโt get access to this service.
This move follows Samsungโs earlier introduction of unlimited battery replacements for Care+ subscribers in early 2024. If your batteryโs charge capacity dips below 79%, you can have it replaced at no additional cost โ though thereโs a small $2 increase in the monthly subscription fee.
Now, all eyes are on the upcoming Galaxy S25 series, which will debut on January 22 at Galaxy Unpacked in San Jose. Pre-orders are expected to start on January 24, and pre-reservations are live already. You can even sneak a peek at all the Galaxy S25 seriesโ leaked specs. As well as the official renders of the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra ahead of the big reveal.
