A moderator on Samsung’s official community forums in South Korea recently confirmed the issue affecting version v12.5.04.0 of the app. The company has already released an update to fix the issue.
Check for updates on the Galaxy Store (go to the Menu option and select Settings) and update the Samsung Calendar app to fix this problem. The update brings version v12.5.05.10 of the app. In addition to the widget fix, the new version adds sticker sync to Samsung’s shared calendar. It also lets you add events via the cover screen calendar widget on foldables.
Moreover, Samsung has updated the date selector UI, Wallet UI, and lunar date repetition setting. We didn’t notice any major UI changes but you still shouldn’t pass on this update. You should regularly update your phone and apps to ensure smooth and reliable functioning.
