Samsung started the One UI 7.0 beta program for its Galaxy devices in December 2024. Up until now, only the Galaxy S24 series owners could participate in the beta program. Other eligible device owners are still waiting for the update โ either a beta build or a stable build. Thankfully, the wait for the beta build is now over, as the South Korean giant has expanded the One UI 7.0 beta program to several older devices.
One UI 7.0 Beta: More devices join the program
In a Newsroom post, Samsung has announced the expansion of its One UI 7.0 beta program. The eligible devices for the beta program include Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Galaxy S23 series, Tab S10 series, and A55. Samsung also mentioned that beta testers can access several Galaxy AI features through the beta program.
Starting March 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 owners can join the beta program. Owners of the Galaxy S23 series, Tab S10 series, and A55 will have to wait a few days or weeks โ Samsung promised to roll out within this month.
The eligible countries for the beta program include India, Korea, the UK, and the US. Notably, Germany and Poland are missing from the list, though both countries were part of the Galaxy S24 series beta program.
Anyway, the good news is that the beta phase wonโt take longer as Samsung confirms the rollout of its long-awaited stable version starting in April. So, if you are afraid of beta builds as they might have some unexpected bugs, you wonโt have to wait much longer for a stable release.
Those who want to join the beta program can register through the Samsung Members app. You should see a banner mentioning the One UI 7.0 Beta Program. Tap on it and follow the instructions to complete the registration. After successful registration, head over to the Settings app on your device and download the beta build like a regular software update.
