In October, Samsung revealed plans to add Dual Messenger support to One Hand Operation+. The latest update introduces this much-needed feature. Version 7.3.19 of the app also adds One UI 7.0 support and more new features, including compatibility with Routines.
Samsung updates One Hand Operation+ with Dual Messenger support
One Hand Operation+ is a Good Lock module that lets you create custom gestures for enhanced one-handed usage. For a long time, the app wasn’t compatible with the Dual Messenger function on Galaxy phones. Custom gestures could only launch the original app. Samsung promised to fix it, and it did with the latest update. One Hand Operation+ users can now launch either version of an app that supports the Dual Messenger function.
Additionally, One Hand Operation+ is now compatible with Routines. You can set up routines to automatically enable or disable the app on your phone. If you prefer to use custom gestures only during a specific time of the day, you can use routines to automate that rather than manually turning it on/off every time.
Samsung’s official changelog for this One Hand Operation+ update also confirms One UI 7.0 support. The update brings additional bug fixes and stability improvements as well. These include a fix for the bug that caused overlapping issues on the lock screen for One UI 7.0 beta users. The notification panel now opens normally on the lock screen when using One Hand Operation+ gestures.
The latest update is available for both One UI 7.0 beta users and devices running One UI 6 or older. The new version is currently limited to the Galaxy S24 series in select markets. Samsung reportedly doesn’t plan to launch beta programs for other devices. The stable rollout is expected to begin in late January, though most phones may not receive the update until sometime in February.
