Samsung Accidentally Reveals Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 on Official Site

by | Feb 20, 2025 | Galaxy A, News

Samsung has inadvertently confirmed the existence of three upcoming mid-range smartphones — Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26. The company listed the unreleased Galaxy A trio on its official website for Chile. The devices appeared on a webpage detailing out-of-warranty repair costs, confirming their model number and retail names in the process.

Samsung confirms Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 ahead of official launch

This premature listing of the Galaxy A56 (SM-A566), Galayx A36 (SM-A366), and Galaxy A26 (SM-A266) on Samsung’s official website hints at a nearing launch. Rumors suggest the devices will go official sometime in March. Samsung will definitely launch the phones in Chile, though we aren’t sure if all three will arrive stateside. The company didn’t launch the Galaxy A55 in the US last year.

While the said listing on Samsung’s website details the out-of-warranty screen repair costs (via SamMobile) for various Galaxy devices launched in Chile, the table doesn’t actually mention the costs for the unannounced Galaxy A phones. The company should update the list to add their repair costs following the official launch.

The Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 have already been subject to numerous leaks, revealing their design and key specs. All three models sport an identical design, featuring a floating rear camera bump and a Key Island button design. The latter refers to a raised frame around the power and volume buttons. It’s a unique design element seen on Samsung’s mid-range phones.

There are still enough differences in the appearance of these three phones. The Galaxy A26, which is the most affordable of the lot, has a notched display with a sizeable chin, while the other two models have a punch-hole display. However, only the Galaxy A56 gets a metallic frame, with the Galaxy A36 sticking to a plastic body. Watch this space for the official announcement next month.
