The Good Lock module is a pretty cool addition to Galaxy phones if you have a knack for customization. We get a bunch of these modules globally, though Samsung also gatekeeps some exclusively in certain regions. Now, there are rumors that Samsung could be working on a new Good Lock module called NOWBAR. As the name suggests, it will help with customizing One UI 7.0โs Now Bar. While details remain scarce regarding its availability, this could be a game-changer for those who love tweaking their devices. Thatโs something even some fans would love to see.
Now Bar may have itโs own Good Lock module, called NOWBAR
According to @Tonysamsunglove, the Good Lock NOWBAR module could feature options like changing colors, adjusting size, adding or removing animations, and even forcing support for all third-party apps. The first three functionalities will certainly enhance customization, but if the fourth one turns out to be true, it could also allow users to add Google Scores, which is currently exclusive to the Galaxy S25 series. Thatโs something X user @TechKhaled_ speculates, too.
Samsungโs Good Lock suite is already packed with customization tools, from LockStar for lock screen tweaks to Theme Park for UI-wide theming. If NOWBAR materializes, it could be the perfect addition for users who want to fully tweak the Now Bar using Good Lock.
Since this information is based purely on speculation, it should be taken with a grain of salt. Samsung frequently tests new features internally, and not all of them make it to final releases. Until an official announcement is made, users can continue exploring Good Lockโs existing modules for their customization needs.
Regardless, itโs an awesome idea for sure, and we hope Samsung adds something like this. What do you think of this pretty cool addition?
