Samsung is gearing up to launch two additional sizes for the Galaxy Ring. The company has already ramped up its preparations for the market introduction of sizes 14 and 15 for its first-gen smart ring. However, a Swiss retailer has jumped the gun and listed the new sizes on its website early.
Sizes 14 and 15 for Galaxy Ring are already available for purchase
Samsung recently put up official support pages for the Galaxy Ring’s size 14 (SM-Q514) and size 15 (SM-Q515). These are new sizes on top of the existing nine options (US ring sizes 5 to 13) launched in July alongside the new foldables. The bigger rings are widely expected to go on sale in January, though there’s no official confirmation yet.
Meanwhile, Swiss retailer MediaMarkt has already listed the bigger ones on its website. At CHF 429.95, they are priced the same as other options — Samsung charges the same amount for all existing sizes ($399.99 in the US). The retailer made the new sizes available for purchase even though they haven’t been officially launched. It mentions a delivery date between January 7-8, 2025.
Maybe that’s the planned release date for the bigger Galaxy Ring options. We shall find out soon. The listing doesn’t reveal additional info, like the battery capacity. That’s the only thing that differs across the nine existing Galaxy Ring sizes. According to rumors, size 14 might feature a 23mm diameter, while size 15 could have a 23.8mm diameter. We will let you know when we have more information.
Meanwhile, rumors are swirling about the Galaxy Ring 2. Samsung allegedly plans to launch the new model as early as next month, at the Galaxy S25’s Unpacked event. The much-awaited show should take place in San Jose, USA on January 22, 2025. It could also bring a pair of AR smart glasses alongside the new flagship smartphones. Stay tuned for the official invitation from Samsung.
