Yesterday, we got our first glimpse of the upcoming Pixel 10 Pro Fold. However, we couldn’t help but feel a bit let down, as the report didn’t include the device’s dimensions. That left us scratching our heads, wondering whether Google is aiming to go toe-to-toe with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and other rivals in terms of thickness. The good news… Android Headlines has now shared the alleged dimensions for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s leaked dimensions suggest no significant upgrade
OnLeaks (via Android Headlines) shared Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s dimensions, noting it will measure around 155.2 x 150.4 x 5.3mm. That means it’ll come in at 5.3mm thick, which is kind of wild, especially considering the Pixel 9 Pro Fold was already impressively slim at 5.1mm. The report also notes that OnLeaks’ dimensions are “sometimes off by around 0.2mm”. What they mean is that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold could end up being the same thickness as its predecessor. If that turns out to be the case, it looks like Google isn’t too focused on competing in the thinness game this year.
Previous rumors suggest the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could take after the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which had a pretty limited release in China and South Korea. We actually have one here in the US, and as you can see in the pictures below, it really stands out against the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
So, if the Pixel 10 Pro Fold stays around 5.1mm, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could easily one-up it with its rumored 4.5mm thickness. And it gets even worse when you throw the Oppo Find N5 into the mix. It comes at a much-much-thinner 4.2mm. (All of these are with the device unfolded, just to give you some perspective.)
We don’t have the full spec sheet just yet. But rumors point to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold packing a Tensor G5 processor. That will be topped with 16GB of RAM and 256GB and 512GB storage options. It may launch in August alongside the rest of the Pixel 10 lineup.
