One UI 7 is now rolling out widely for both beta and non-beta Galaxy S24 users in Europe. Samsung will soon release the update across the region for more devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The update should also hit US shores soon before going global over the next few days.
One UI 7 rolls out to non-beta Galaxy S24 users in Europe
A few hours ago, Samsung rolled out One UI 7 for Galaxy S24 users in Germany, Poland, and the UK. However, the initial release only covered users who participated in the beta program. Now, the company has pushed the update for non-beta users, i.e., those on One UI 6.1, across Europe. As expected, the OTA file weighs over 5GB for them, while it was less than 500MB for beta users.
Samsung has already confirmed plans to release One UI 7 in the US on April 10. So Galaxy S24 users stateside should receive the big Android 15 update within the next few hours. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are also expected to pick up One UI 7 shortly. The company will begin a global rollout for these devices on April 14.
Other eligible models, including the Galaxy S23, will gradually receive this update over the next few weeks. Samsung expects to complete the One UI 7 rollout for all eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets by the end of June. Alongside a host of AI features and other functional upgrades, Samsung’s Android 15-based One UI 7 update brings a visual overhaul to Samsung’s custom Android skin. The company has improved system animation for smoother navigation while making subtle UI adjustments to enhance the visual appeal. It’s arguably the biggest update in One UI history.
