Samsung recently released the stable One UI 7 update for Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 users enrolled in the beta program. The company wasted no time in bringing the big update to non-beta users. The Android 15-based update is now available for these devices widely in South Korea, with a global rollout set to begin soon.
One UI 7 is widely available for Galaxy S24, Fold 6, and Flip 6 users in Korea
Non-beta Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Flip 6 users (those running One UI 6.1 or One UI 6.1.1) are getting the same One UI 7 build as beta users. Samsung is pushing the build version BYCG to the S24 lineup, BYCK to the Fold 6, and BYCJ to the Flip 6. The OTA packages for all three devices weigh over 5GB, with the update also including the April security patch.
While we currently have confirmation of these updates only in Korea, Samsung will soon start pushing the stable One UI 7 build to these devices in other markets. The company previously said the US units will get the big update on April 10, while a global release may commence on April 14. Other eligible devices will also get the update in the coming weeks.
If you are using an eligible Galaxy smartphone or tablet, keep an eye out for update notifications. When one arrives, tap on it and download the big update to experience a refined UI, new AI features, enhanced camera features, and more. You can also manually check for updates by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install on your Galaxy device.
Note that some advanced features may be limited to recent flagship models. Samsung should complete the One UI 7 rollout for all beta and non-beta Galaxy users by June and then shift the focus to One UI 8 based on Android 16. The next major OS update for the Galaxy family may arrive in July or August of this year.
