The One UI 7.0 beta has brought several exciting features to the Galaxy S24 series, but it’s still falling short in some areas. One notable omission is the One UI 7.0’s much-anticipated AI Notification Summary feature. Truth be told, this was one feature we were really hyped about.
One UI 7.0’s AI Notification Summary could come in January
In an X post, we asked reliable tipster @chunvn8888 when the highly-anticipated AI Notification Summary feature might land in the One UI 7.0 beta — and whether it’s coming at all. The tipster responded that we should expect it “next year.” This suggests the feature will likely debut with the stable release of One UI 7.0. Or during Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series launch event in January.
Adding to the mix, they mentioned that “lots of other AI features,” like AI stickers, aren’t ready just yet. So, it seems we’ll have to sit tight until the Galaxy S25 series launch for a full rollout of these features.
Speaking of the Galaxy S25 series, all its color and storage options have already leaked. Sadly, black won’t be among the choices for the Galaxy S25 and S25+. The closest alternative? Navy! But let’s admit, it’s just not the same.
Even Apple’s take is half-baked for now
For starters, the AI Notification Summary in One UI 7.0 is designed to analyze all your messages and condense them into a neat summary. This makes it easy to catch up on the most important details in a jiffy. Think of those times when group chat notifications are flooding your phone, leaving you clueless about what you’ve missed—this feature aims to bridge that gap.
While iOS 18 introduced a similar functionality earlier this year, it’s still a work in progress. It often makes things up, proving to be something you can’t fully rely on, at least for now.
