Samsung’s One UI 7.0 customizations detailed in a new YouTube video
One UI 7.0 is anticipated to be the biggest smartphone software update in Samsung’s history, with changes galore across nearly every aspect of the system. The videos on the Mobile Wala Bhai YouTube channel offer an exciting glimpse, highlighting a massive visual overhaul and enhanced functionality. These updates promise to elevate the overall Galaxy user experience significantly.
Starting with the lockscreen, Samsung added a pill-shaped housing for contact information between the two app shortcuts. You get more customization options for the lockscreen, including quick access to the image gallery, lockscreen widgets, and new clock styles. Samsung also offers enhanced homescreen customizations with a host of new widgets. The widgets get a visual upgrade for a fresh look.
We have long known that One UI 7.0 will separate the Quick Panel from the notifications shade, both of which have been redesigned. However, Samsung will let users switch to the existing unified view. Quick Panel supports extensive customization, allowing users to move all boxes. In One UI 6, you can only customize the main panel housing quick setting toggles. Other control buttons are immovable.
Additionally, One UI 7.0 improves the Task Changer and introduces smoother system animations for a more fluid user experience. The Task Changer menu offers a shortcut to quickly close apps that might be unnecessarily running in the background and draining the battery. This update also brings new app icons and a host of other changes. With the beta program expected soon, these leaks are fueling excitement around Samsung’s upcoming One UI update.
