If you have been following One UI 7.0 news, you probably know the beta update has been delayed. There is no clear timeline in sight as Samsung still has work to do. But when it arrives, it may not be just another One UI update. It could be a revolution if we are to believe industry insiders. The leap is so significant that you can divide the One UI experience into two distinct eras: One UI 1 to 6 and One UI 7.
One UI 7.0 is a massive update that Samsung can’t go wrong with
Leaks suggest One UI 7.0 will bring a massive UI overhaul, redesigned icons, smoother system animations, and other aesthetic and functional improvements. The journey may have already begun with the latest One UI Home update that enables smoother animations. Noted Samsung leaker Ice Universe has long said that the next One UI version will make you feel like, “Is this really the One UI I remember?”
They recently reiterated the claim, saying One UI 7.0 is a league apart from all previous versions. Samsung has substantially improved the visuals and user experience. Of course, it will introduce new features too — definitely several new Galaxy AI tools — but the focus is on the user experience more than anything. Samsung wants to leave an unforgettable first impression in a good way, and that sounds interesting.
Unfortunately, the update is still nowhere in sight. The beta program has been delayed indefinitely. Industry insiders say Samsung is working on squashing obvious bugs before opening up One UI 7.0 to the public. It remains to be seen if the first beta update will drop before the end of August. The Galaxy S24 series should get it, followed by other models. The stable One UI 7.0 update may follow in November. Or maybe Samsung will speed up the beta program and release it in October, time will tell.
