A tipster recently claimed that Samsung will start One UI 7.0 beta testing in November. However, they didn’t specify a release date, leading to speculations that an official announcement may come at SDC Korea on November 21. It appears we won’t have to wait that long. As @tarunvats33 spotted, Samsung has created subforums for One UI 7.0 beta for the Galaxy S24 and S23 series on its US community forum.
The subforum is blank for obvious reasons—the beta program has not been officially announced. However, this is a major indication of a nearing launch. Samsung could open registrations for Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra users soon, possibly within the next week. Registrations for S23 users should open after the latest flagships. The company is also expected to run beta programs for several other devices, including foldables.
Meanwhile, rumors suggest Samsung will skip One UI 7.1. The Korean firm has already confirmed that the stable Android 15-based update for Galaxy devices will debut on the Galaxy S25 series. So, even if the beta program opens early, we’ll have to wait until the next flagship launch for the stable release. The phones were initially expected to ship with One UI 7.1, but Samsung seems to have changed its mind recently.
