The Android 15-based One UI 7.0 beta is finally here, starting with the Galaxy S24 series. It is now available in the US, UK, Germany, India, South Korea, and Poland. One of the standout features is that the One UI 7.0 beta now allows you to customize both the Quick Settings Panel and Notification Panel to your preference individually.
You can now combine Quick Settings Panel and Notification Panel with One UI 7.0 beta
With the One UI 7.0 beta, you also have the option to combine the Quick Settings Panel and Notification Panel into a single, unified view, bringing back the familiar look from earlier versions. It’s a breath of fresh air to see that Samsung has clearly listened to user feedback with this update.
Just so you’re in the loop, many users had voiced frustration over the separated panels, calling them inconvenient and, let’s say, less intuitive. But don’t worry: if you’re set in your ways and prefer the separate panels, you can still stick with what you know.
There are two options: “Separate” and “Together.” If you choose Separate, you’ll need to swipe down from the top-right corner to open the Quick Settings panel, while swiping down from anywhere else will bring up the Notification Panel.
Have you installed the One UI 7.0 beta yet?
I’d like to repeat the One UI 7.0 beta is now available for all the Galaxy S24 series phones. except for the S24 FE, which, of course, is not a part of the premium flagships. A solid choice, however.
If you are based in the US, the UK, Germany, India, Korea, and Poland and luckily own either Galaxy S24, S24+, or S24 Ultra, you can now use the One UI 7.0 beta. It will be available for more Galaxy phones soon, with a broader full release expected either around or after the Galaxy Unpacked in January.
