Samsung Members update sparks One UI 7.0 beta speculations
Galaxy users interested in One UI beta programs must register through the Samsung Members app. Typically, the company updates the app to accommodate necessary changes just before a new beta release. It recently rolled out version 5.1.00.11 of the app, fueling speculation that the One UI 7.0 beta is imminent. With the first beta expected to arrive within the next week or two, it seems this app update is part of preparations for the rollout.
The latest update for Samsung Members is rolling out to Galaxy users globally. We have received reports of updates from users in the US, Korea, Europe, the UK, India, and many other regions. However, the new version isn’t available widely yet. We checked on a Galaxy S24 Ultra and a Galaxy A55 signed in with the same Samsung and Google account. Only the latter showed an update for Samsung Members on the Galaxy Store.
This means it’s a staged rollout. The update will gradually make its way into more devices over the next few days. You can check for it from the Updates menu in the Galaxy Store. We installed Samsung Members version 5.1.00.11 on the Galaxy A55 and found no notable change. It may be a generic update in preparation for the One UI 7.0 beta release. Hopefully, the company won’t delay the big update any longer and release it in early October.
