Ahead of next week’s One UI 7 rollout, Samsung has released a new update for its popular customization suite, Good Lock. The update aims to enhance the user experience on devices running One UI 7. It also brings improved performance and reliability.
The latest Good Lock update introduces two notable improvements
The official changelog for the Good Lock v3.0.11.1 update is short, with just two entries. However, the changes are meaningful — especially for those upgrading to a new Android OS version like One UI 7. According to Samsung, Good Lock now supports instant app list sync after an OS upgrade.
When you update your Galaxy phone to a new One UI version, Good Lock will immediately refresh and fetch the latest list of available modules in the Galaxy Store. This ensures users can access the newest features and compatible modules without delays. Samsung is making this change just ahead of the One UI 7 rollout. The big Android 15 update rolls out starting April 7.
The latest Good Lock update also makes backend improvements to enhance overall app stability. Galaxy users can expect a smoother and more reliable experience across all modules. You can install the new version from the Galaxy Store. Simply search “Good Lock” and download the new update — if not available, check again a few days later.
Samsung is expected to roll out Good Lock globally soon, also releasing it on the Google Play Store. This would give more Galaxy users a chance to personalize their phones. The app consists of over 20 modules that let you customize the lock screen, home screen, animations, task change, clock style, notification panel, quick settings, keyboard, sound panel, and more UI elements.
Good Lock’s global expansion may come after the One UI 7 rollout. If you live in an unsupported region, keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks.
