Leaked Render Offers Closer Look at Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra Design

by | Sep 3, 2024 | Galaxy Tab, News

Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy Tab S10 series flagship Android tablets have garnered a couple more regulatory certifications, signaling a nearing launch. We also have a fresh look at the Ultra model’s design thanks to a leaked render. The devices may go official in October.

Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra leak reveals its design details

The UAE’s TDRA and Denmark’s UL Demko recently certified the Galaxy Tab S10+. The former listed two variants of the tablet, bearing the model number SM-X820 and SM-X826B. They correspond to the Wi-Fi and 5G versions, respectively. The Danish certification agency listed a third variant with the model number SM-X826N. It’s the Korean 5G version.

While the TDRA certification didn’t reveal anything specific, UL Demko confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S10+ will boast 45W charging (10V, 4.5A). The 3C certification in China previously revealed the charging speed of both upcoming Samsung tablets. The Ultra model also supports 45W wired charging, unchanged from the Galaxy Tab S9 series.

Leaked renders have already revealed that the new tablets will look identical to their predecessors. Reputed leaker Evan Blass, aka evleaks, recently dropped another render for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, showing it from a new angle. The latest image gives us a better look at the device’s bottom edge where the connectors for the keyboard cover sit.

If you are wondering, those two cutouts on either side of the pin-based connectors aren’t USB-C ports. Those are magnetic ports for accessories like a keyboard cover. The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has two cameras on the front and two at the back. The Plus model has only one front camera. Samsung seems to have canceled the base Galaxy Tab S10 this year.

The new flagship Galaxy tablets are expected to arrive in October. Samsung may unveil them alongside the Galaxy S24 FE. The company also has the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition (a thinner and lighter foldable than the Galaxy Z Fold 6). Since it is likely to see a limited release in China and South Korea, Samsung may launch separately. We will keep you posted.
