Leaked Galaxy S25 Renders Miss the Mark, Here’s Correct Version

by | Sep 13, 2024 | Galaxy S, News

Following a wave of Galaxy S25 Ultra leaks, we’ve finally caught a glimpse of the base S25 model. A reliable tipster recently shared high-resolution renders, offering multiple angles of the upcoming Samsung flagship’s design. While the images sparked excitement, they apparently don’t accurately portray the Galaxy S25. Thankfully, another trusted source has stepped in with corrected renders to set the record straight.

Leaked 3D Galaxy S25 renders have a typical error

A few days ago, reliable tipster Onleaks gave us the first 3D renders of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, revealing its front and rear design. However, prolific Samsung leaker Ice Universe pointed out some errors in those images. He said the bezels are narrower than shown in the renders, while the frame is a little wider. He shared a corrected version that accurately portrayed the phone’s design, which you can see here.

It turns out the first Galaxy S25 renders from Onleaks have the same flaw. Ice Universe says it is a typical error often originating from the CAD file that designers use to create unofficial renders of unreleased phones. Those files usually do not provide an accurate frame-bezel ratio, leading to flawed designs. The trusted Samsung leaker, who claims to have access to accurate data, modified the render to rectify the error.

As you can see in the image above, the Galaxy S25 render on the right has narrower bezels but a slightly wider frame. The overall frame and bezel width appear identical, but the device still looks sleeker on the corrected version. “Unlike renderings, the S25 bezel is actually narrower than the S24,” the leaker claimed. Samsung is widely known to be working on aesthetic improvements for its next flagships.

The Korean firm also has major hardware and software upgrades planned for the Galaxy S25 lineup, with the Ultra expected to get the biggest upgrades. It aims to outshine the iPhone 16 Pro Max in every aspect, from the design and feel to features, performance, and user experience.
