If your Galaxy Ring feels warmer than usual at times, there is nothing to be worried about. Samsung says this is completely normal. The company explained that slight warmth can occur due to the device’s advanced sensors and processing features, but it poses no safety risk or performance issue.
The Galaxy Ring can feel warm to the touch from time to time, and it’s normal
Samsung’s Galaxy Ring is an impressive innovation, delivering non-intrusive continuous health monitoring in a sleek and lightweight design. Comfortable enough for extended wear, it boasts a long battery life, so you don’t need to put it to charge frequently. The ring complements a smartwatch perfectly, offering health tracking even during times when wearing a watch — like while sleeping — might not be ideal.
Launched in July this year, we have been using the Galaxy Ring for several months now and it delivers reliable results. In our experience, the ring has never felt warm enough to cause discomfort. However, Samsung has noted that it may occasionally feel warm, which is entirely normal and not a cause for concern.
“When using a feature that requires more battery power or a feature that runs for an extended period of time, your Galaxy Ring may feel warm. This is normal and should not affect your ring’s performance or lifespan,” Samsung explains. The company users to remove the ring and refrain from using it temporarily if it ever feels uncomfortably warm. This precaution ensures a comfortable experience while using the device.
However, if the Galaxy Ring continues to overheat even after putting it aside for a while, something’s probably not right. After all, it’s a tech gadget with a battery, microchips, a battery, and other sensors inside it. These things can malfunction. In that case, you should contact Samsung Support or visit a service center nearby. But as we mentioned earlier, the Galaxy Ring has never felt warm for us. Samsung currently offers up to $200 trade-in credit on this ring.
