In a blog post, Google announced that โMost relevantโ search results are rolling out globally for users with personal Google accounts. This AI-powered feature is available on both the web and the Gmail app for Android and iOS, allowing users to switch between โMost relevantโ and โMost recentโ results. Additionally, the company has confirmed plans to extend this feature to business users in the future.
โInstead of just showing emails in chronological order based on keywords, Gmail search results now factor in elements like recency, most-clicked emails and frequent contacts. With this update, the emails youโre looking for are far more likely to be at the top of your search results โ saving you valuable time and helping you find important information more easily,โ Googe said in its blog post.
