Samsung today began rolling out the fourth round of the One UI 7.0 beta for the Galaxy S24 series (excluding the FE). While Samsung is quite late with the One UI 7.0 update, the rollout of Beta 4 brings us one step closer to the official stable release. Additionally, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 was also spotted running One UI 7.0.1 on the server.
Samsung is testing One UI 7 for Galaxy Z Fold 7
Samsungโs upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 is just around the corner and is only a few months away from making its big debut at the second Galaxy Unpacked event. It might drop alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Flip FE. Right on cue, Samsung is testing what could be One UI 7.0.1 for the Galaxy Z Flip 7, with build version F966USQU0AYB3/F966UOYN0AYB3/F966USQU0AYB3, as shared by Tarun Vats.

In the screenshot, we can also spot the model number for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which has been floating around for a while. The upcoming Fold carries the model number SM-F966, and we can see SM-F966U in the screenshot. The โUโ at the end means itโs the U.S. variant.
This points to the fact that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip might hit the market with One UI 7.0.1 instead of the usual One UI 7.0. But given how things have gone with One UI 7.0 delays, take this with a pinch of salt.
As for what we can expect from the Z Fold 7, it could be the global version of the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which was only available in South Korea and China last year. So, we might see the same screen ratio, bigger displays, and less visible creases. As for the internals, itโs likely going to pack a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 16GB of RAM, and at least 256GB of storage.
