Samsung is gearing up to launch its next-generation rugged devices, which could include the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro smartphone and the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro tablet. Now, the Korean firm has listed both devices on its official support pages, hinting at an imminent release.

A few weeks ago, an unknown Samsung device with four different model numbers: SM-G766B, SM-G766U, SM-G766U1, and SM-G766W appeared on the TรœV Rheinland certification site. Many believed it to be the Galaxy XCover 8 Pro. Later, the FCC listing revealed that the SM-G766U model number belongs to the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro. Speaking of the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro, the IMEI database revealed its model number as SM-X356B.

Galaxy XCover 7 Pro and Tab Active 5 Pro spotted on official support pages

Folks over at Xpertpick recently discovered the official Samsung support pages for the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro and the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro. The support pages for the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro (SM-G766B) have been spotted in countries like the UK, Switzerland, and Russia. The Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro (SM-X350 and SM-X356B) has also appeared on support pages in these countries. This suggests both devices will go official very soon, and join as new models in Samsungโ€™s rugged device lineup.

Apart from hinting at an imminent launch, the official support pages for these upcoming devices have not revealed any specifications. However, earlier leaked details suggest that both Galaxy XCover 7 Pro and Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro may come with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and Android 15. As for battery, SafetyKorea certification revealed Galaxy XCover 7 Pro will pack a 4,350mAh battery. Other specifications are still unknown. But like their predecessors, these upcoming rugged devices should support IP68 water and dust resistance and be MIL-STD 810H (Military Standard) compliant.

We can expect an announcement next month or by the end of April at the latest. More details about these devices should emerge in the coming weeks.
