Samsung released its Galaxy S25 series barely a month ago. And we have already started getting leaks of the next-generation Galaxy S26 models, though weโre still more than 10 months away from the official launch. Now, a leaked prototype image shows the displays of the Galaxy S26 and S26 Ultra.
It is worth noting that Samsung might make any changes until the last minute. Expectedly, these phones are not in the mass production stage yet (still in the prototype testing stage), and the designs may not be final. However, the current leak suggests that the Galaxy S26 series might feature minor redesigns.
The bezels are now even slimmer than the existing models
A well-known tipster, @PandaFlashPro on X, shared an image showcasing the Samsung Galaxy S26 seriesโs display look and said the images shown are โ98% accurate.โ He further said that all of the prototypes share the same design.
The S25 seriesโs frame design will continue, but Samsung is making the bezels even thinner for a more premium appearance. In comparison, the Galaxy S25 lineup came with an impressive display, with one of the thinnest bezels at 1.52 mm. Since its key competitors, Apple, and other Chinese companies, are rapidly innovating in terms of screen bezel size, Samsung is trying to go ahead of the competition.
Other leaks (via @Vhsss_God) claim that Samsung is trying a nano quad curve display, though the information hasnโt been verified yet by @PandaFlashPro. We donโt think this is likely since a nano quad curve is very similar to a 2.5D screen. Itโs much harder to find good screen protectors for those, and the industry is rapidly moving towards completely flat displays with even bezels. However, Samsung might incorporate a quad curve style display as a trick to minimize the bezels.
Apart from subtle design tweaks, Samsung is reportedly testing a new ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for 2026โs Galaxy devices, probably for the Galaxy S26 series.
