The Galaxy S25 Ultra‘s revamped design could leave the latest iPhone in the dust. It’s thinner, lighter, and boasts a cleaner front profile with a subtle camera cutout, unlike the iPhone’s pill-shaped Dynamic Island. The Galaxy also sports slimmer bezels, giving it a more premium look. A recent tipster comparison of the Galaxy S25 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max’s bezels offers a visual sneak peek, highlighting the new Samsung flagship’s sleekness.
Galaxy S25 Ultra looks stunning in front of the iPhone 16 Pro Max
We have long known that the Galaxy S25 Ultra and the iPhone 16 Pro Max have a lot of similarities. They have identical dimensions — 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm and 163 x 77.6 x 8.3 mm, respectively. Their screens also measure the same (6.86 inches diagonally) and have matching aspect ratios (19.5:9 vs. 19.55:9). The only notable difference is in the weight — the Galaxy weighs 219 grams against the iPhone’s 227 grams.
However, the two top-tier flagships look nothing like one another. The Galay S25 Ultra has a negligible curve on the corners, while the iPhone can’t be curvier. Of course, the so-called Dynamic Island is a big distraction on the iPhone’s display. The Galaxy looks cleaner with its tiny punch-hole camera. Slimmer bezels also add to its sleek design. Its minimalistic aesthetic gives the phone a premium and more modern-looking appearance.
As you can see in the images above, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has marginally thinner bezels. Samsung has substantially tweaked its Ultra flagship’s design for a fresh new look. Of course, the company also has major hardware and software upgrades in plans. The device is expected to boast up to 16GB of RAM, at least one new 50MP camera, an improved display, a newer processor, and tons of new software tricks.
