On January 22, Samsung will lift the curtain on the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. But donโt be fooled into thinking thatโs the full Galaxy S25 lineup; itโs not. Samsung might also unveil the Galaxy S25 Slim during Galaxy Unpacked, with a possible release in May. While the official launch is still a few months away, has that stopped the leaks? Not a chance. The Galaxy S25 Slimโs CAD renders have just made their way out into the wild.
Galaxy S25 Slim CAD renders leak ahead of May launch
Smartprix, in collaboration with OnLeaks, published the CAD renders of the Galaxy S25 Slim. According to previous leaks, it could be just 6.4mm thick and come with some major camera upgrades. Thereโs also talk that the Galaxy S25 Slimโs screen could measure between 6.7 and 6.8 inches. For context, the upcoming Galaxy S25+ could feature a 6.7-inch display. Now, letโs take a closer look at the Galaxy S25 CAD renders, shall we?
As we can see in the CAD renders, the Galaxy S25 Slim is shaping up to be one of the thinnest phones out there. Itโs going to face some stiff competition from the iPhone 17 Air, which is also rumored to launch this year. While the iPhone 17 Air may have the edge when it comes to thickness, rumors suggest it might not quite match the S25 Slimโs camera capabilities. To get the full picture, Smartprix also posted a 360-degree view, which you can check out directly on their site.
As for the Galaxy S25 Slimโs launch, itโs likely to hit shelves sometime in May. This seems like a smart move, since releasing it at the same time as the S25 Ultra or S25+ might affect sales. However, I think thatโs a bit of a stretch. Because each model targets a different crowd.
Right now, pre-reservations are open for the Galaxy S25 series. So if youโre planning to snag an S25, S25+, or S25 Ultra, make sure to check it out.
