Samsung’s Galaxy S25 production seems to be in full swing. A recent report from the Korean media says suppliers have started mass production of key components for the upcoming flagships, including high-density interconnect (HDI) circuit boards, aka the main board. In the meantime, the company is holding executive meetings to discuss its global business strategy for 2025.
Galaxy S25 production is underway as Samsung discusses strategies
A few days back, it was reported that the Galaxy S25 series had entered the production stage. Samsung finalized everything and placed orders for the components it sources from third-party suppliers. The Korean media has now confirmed the three suppliers manufacturing the main board for the devices. Fastprint (China), DAP (Korea), and Korea Circuit (Korea) have been chosen to produce HDI boards for the Galaxy S25 trio.
According to the new report, Fastprint is expected to secure the largest share of orders due to its technological advantage over competitors. It allegedly has the most advanced printed circuit board (PCB) technology among the three firms. The Chinese company also supplied HDI boards for Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. The slim new foldable is exclusively available in Korea and China.
Additionally, the report confirms that Samsung will ship all three Galaxy S25 models with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It made this decision in early October after foundry struggles delayed the Exynos 2500’s production. Other factors like performance and power efficiency may have played their parts in Samsung picking the Snapdragon chip over its in-house solution.
Meanwhile, the Korean firm is still discussing its business strategies for the upcoming flagships. It held a high-level executive meeting on Tuesday, with the meeting expected to resume on Wednesday. Alongside the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung executives discussed the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and other products it plans to launch next year. The Galaxy S25 trio may debut on January 22, 2025.
