Galaxy S25+ May Fall Behind in Aesthetics with Wider Bezels

by | Sep 18, 2024 | Galaxy S, News

Samsung is putting aesthetics front and center with the Galaxy S25 series, aiming to deliver a sleek, modern look. However, not all models seem to receive the same attention. While the base S25 and the Ultra flaunt sleek designs with ultra-thin bezels, the Galaxy S25+ appears to fall short. Rumors suggest the Plus model will feature noticeably wider bezels, making it the odd one out in an otherwise refined lineup.

Galaxy S25+ has the widest bezels among the three

From thinner profiles to refined details, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 design tweaks emphasize elegance without sacrificing the brand’s signature style. The company aims to outshine rivals in all aspects, including performance and software experience. However, it may still play favoritism within the lineup. The Plus model, which has always been the least-selling model, isn’t getting the same treatment from Samsung.

According to tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S25+ has “almost the same” bezel width as the S24+. Since the new model is a little more compact and still features a 6.7-inch display, Samsung must have reduced the bezels. However, it may not have put in the same effort as with the Ultra and the base Galaxy S25. The Ultra has the thinnest bezels among the three and the Plus has the widest, the ever-reliable tipster claims.

“It may be that Samsung did this on purpose to make way for S25 Ultra,” Ice Universe said in an X post. “The feeling of holding [the] S25 Ultra in your hand is a slightly thicker, larger, and more square S25+,” they added in a separate post. “[The] S25+ will be a slightly embarrassing existence.” The tipster claims to have access to more accurate design info with additional details than what we saw in the recently leaked renders. Expect more Galaxy S25 leaks in the coming weeks.
