Galaxy S25 takes mobile AI experiences to new heights
Equipped with advanced AI agents featuring multimodal capabilities, the Galaxy S25 series can interpret text, speech, images, and videos, enabling interactions that feel effortless and natural. Enhanced natural language understanding simplifies everyday interactions. For example, you can easily find specific photos in your Gallery or adjust font sizes for your phone using simple voice commands.
Samsung and Google have improved the Circle to Search feature for an enhanced experience. The tool can now quickly recognize phone numbers, emails, and URLs on-screen and offer relevant on-tap actions like calling. The Galaxy S25 series also supports context-aware actionable searches, providing intuitive suggestions for follow-up steps. Switching between apps becomes easier than ever, enabling quick actions like sharing a GIF or saving event details seamlessly.
This partnership also sees Samsung integrate Gemini into several first-party and third-party apps. For instance, you can locate your favorite sports team’s season schedule and add it to your Samsung Calendar with a single command. Moreover, Gemini can now be invoked through the power button, aka the side button. You can remove Bixby and add Gemini to the side button.
Additionally, The Galaxy S25 series enhances communication and productivity with expanded Galaxy AI tools, including Call Transcript, Writing Assist, Audio Erase, and enhanced Drawing Assist. Now Brief, a tiny bar on the lock screen, proactively guides you through the day by offering relevant suggestions, such as reminders or updates. It’s your personalized information hub giving you relevant data based on your activities and time of the day.

The Galaxy S25 series delivers smarter yet safer personalized AI experiences. The Personal Data Engine uses your data to create highly personalized features and experiences while ensuring the maximum security of your data. All the analysis happens directly on your device, ensuring that your data isn’t sent to external servers, enhancing privacy and security.
Some of these AI enhancements will roll out to older Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S24 series, with the One UI 7 update. The rollout could begin later this month or in early February.
