The Galaxy S24 FE continues to generate buzz as yet another leak has surfaced. It re-confirms the phone’s rumored charging speed. A tipster also recently shared a summary of leaked specs along with an estimated pricing structure. Samsung has yet to announce its launch.
Galaxy S24 FE confirmed to offer 25W charging
Samsung’s upcoming Fan Edition smartphone recently picked up a regulatory certification from the UAE’s TDRA (Telecommunications Regulatory Authority) and TUV Rheinland. The latter confirms that the phone will offer 25W wired charging (9V, 2.77A), unchanged from its predecessor. Rumors say the company will drop the wireless charging speed from 15W to 9W.
Samsung appears to have seven variants of the Galaxy S24 FE in the works: SM-S721B/DS, SM-S721B, SM-S721N, SM-S721Q, SM-S721U, SM-S721W, SM-S7210. The variant with the suffix B in its model number is the global version, U is the US version, N is the Korean version, W is the Canadian version, and 0 is the Chinese version. “DS” indicates dual-SIM support.
The upcoming FE phone has already been certified by several other regulatory bodies around the world, including the FCC in the US and BIS in India. These developments suggest Samsung is getting closer to its official launch. The Korean behemoth recently confirmed Camera Assistant support for the Galaxy S24 FE. The phone ships with Android 14-based One UI 6.1 software.
The handset sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2400e with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The camera setup remains unchanged. The device has a 50MP primary shooter, a 12MP ultrawide lens, an 8MP 3x zoom camera, and a 10MP selfie camera. It packs a 4,600mAh battery and boasts an IP68 rating.
Samsung allegedly plans to price the Galaxy S24 FE around ₹50,000 (approx. $595) in India, though it may be a calculated guess based on the FE lineup’s price history in the country. Considering the volume of leaks recently, it shouldn’t be long before the company unveils the phone. We wouldn’t be surprised if its detailed pricing structure gets leaked before the launch event.
