When Samsung took the wraps off Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, many were left wondeirng: where’s rest of the lineup, particularly the Galaxy Book5 and Book5 Pro? It seems we’re finally inching closer to the much-awaited debut, as the Galaxy Book5 and Book5 Pro are expected to arrive soon.
Galaxy Book5 and Book5 Pro spotted on FCC and BIS listings
According to 91Mobiles, the publication spotted new Samsung devices bearing model numbers NP750QHA, NP750QHZ, and NP754QHA on India’s BIS database, with NP750QHA also listed on the FCC. This hints they may launch soon in India and the U.S. Furthermore, model numbers bearing NP940XHA, NP940XHZ, and NP944XHA, which the publication believes, are likely part of the upcoming Galaxy Book5 Pro line, based on their similarity to the Galaxy Book4 Pro.
Chances are the many model numbers have left you confused, wondering what Samsung is up to. Well, that’s because these model numbers represent different configurations of the same variant. Nonetheless, what we should take away from this finding is that the Galaxy Book5 devices are launching — and launching soon.
Galaxy Book5 is bringing a punch of ports
There’s little known about what the upcoming Galaxy Book5 will pack under the hood, but it’s certainly plausible that they will feature two Thunderbolt 4 ports, as seen in the spotted documents. There’s also room for a USB Type-A port, an HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Documents also reveal that the upcoming Galaxy Book5 will run on Windows 11 (yes, you guessed it right!). At least two color options—Grey and Silver—are expected. The laptop will support 65W fast charging, and it’s likely to feature a range of CoPilot+ AI capabilities. This suggests it will be powered by a solid processor, possibly with 16GB of RAM in the base variant. We’ll keep you updated.
