Galaxy users are eagerly waiting for Samsung’s One UI 7.0 update, which brings Android 15. While the company has already confirmed that the stable version won’t arrive before 2025, it’s expected to start beta programs soon. Alongside flagship models, like the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy Z Fold 6, some mid-range devices should also receive beta updates. The Galaxy A55 leads the line for the latter group.
This A series model recently appeared on Geekbench running the new Android version. The 8GB RAM variant of the Galaxy A55 (model number SM-A556E) scored 1,156 in single-core CPU tests and 3,457 in multi-core CPU tests on Geekbench v 6.3. There are multiple listings with varying scores, though all within the margin of error.
This benchmark run for the Galaxy A55 confirms Samsung is actively developing One UI 7.0 and testing the update with supported devices.
