Whatโs known is that Samsung is prepping to unveil the Galaxy A06 5G very soon in India. This will be the 5G variant of last yearโs A06. Ahead of the Galaxy A06 5G launch, its specs and pricing for India have leaked. And yes, it will run One UI 7.0 right out of the box, while last yearโs flagship Galaxy S24 series is still awaiting another round of beta.
Galaxy A06 5G specs and pricing leak, suggesting India launch is imminent
Tipster Abhishek Yadav leaked the full specs of the Galaxy A06 5G ahead of its launch in India. What seems to be an internal document comparing it against other phones in the same budget range reveals what the phone offers.
The Galaxy A06 5G features a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate. On the rear, it has a dual-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, thereโs an 8MP selfie camera. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300. All of this is housed in a body thatโs 8mm thick, the same as the 4G variant.

The biggest surpriseโthough not unexpectedโis that it comes with Android 15-based One UI 7.0 out of the box. It promises four Android OS upgrades, unlike the two on its predecessor. Given this, it could receive up to One UI 11.0 or Android 19, which may arrive around 2028 or 2029. The leak also shows that the phone supports 12 5G bands, including four additional ones, and can handle memory cards up to 1.5TB.
Additionally, Yadav also revealed the pricing for the Galaxy A06 5G in India. It will be available in 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, and 6GB+128GB variants, priced at Rs 12,499, Rs 13,999, and Rs 15,499, respectively.
