This week is a big one for Samsung fans, leakers, and everyone waiting for the new Galaxy Z lineup. After a bunch of CAD renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 surfaced, we now have renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 too. Unfortunately, they donโt show any major upgrades. But since theyโre based on CAD files, that might or might not tell the whole story.
Galaxy Z Flip 7 CAD renders leaked months before the official debut
Once again, OnLeaks (via Android Headlines) shared the CAD renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Thatโs quite something to see, especially with the release still a few months away. However, one thing youโll notice after seeing these renders is that the design remains more or less the same. Yes, there are barely any substantial upgrades compared to the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
That said, the Galaxy Z Flip 7โs cover display is getting a small bump to 3.6 inches, up by 0.2 inches from the Z Flip 6. On the inside, the screen could be 6.8 inches, just a smidge more than the current 6.7-inch. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 will measure 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9mm when unfolded, which is almost the same as the Z Flip 6 but a little taller and wider at 165.1 x 71.9mm.
Another change could be a less noticeable crease on the foldable screen. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 might use better display tech to make the crease blend in more smoothly. That said, Samsung might not change the pricing for the Galaxy Z Flip 7, meaning we could see it launch at the same $1,099.
Samsung is expected to launch the Z Flip 7 alongside the Z Fold 7 at the second Galaxy Unpacked event. There might also be a cheaper Z Flip FE. There are also talks about Samsung releasing a trifold or Galaxy G Fold, but thatโs quite unlikely to happen at the same event.
