Samsung is set to introduce a radical new design for its Ultra flagship next year. The Galaxy S25 Ultra looks nothing like its predecessor. It forgoes the Note-like boxy design with sharp edges and pointy corners and switches to a curved body. We have already seen the phone in unofficial renders created by a trusted source. They have shared a few more images to give us a better look.
Fresh images highlight the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s radical new look
Reliable X tipster Ice Universe was the first to authoritatively claim that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a curved design. They even shared that the curvature would be similar to the infamous Galaxy Note 7, with Samsung also redesigning the frame to reduce its projection on the front. This makes way for slimmer bezels and a more premium front look. The source made these claims a long time ago.
Last week, the tipster dropped an unofficial render of the Galaxy S25 Ultra accurately depicting its design. The phone is narrower and thinner than the S24 Ultra. However, slimmer bezels mean it boasts a 6.9-inch display (up from 6.8 inches). The source has since shared several images of the upcoming Samsung flagship, comparing its design with other phones. You can find all the images below.
Despite being slightly more compact than the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the 2025 flagship still packs a 5,000mAh battery. Leaks and certifications have already revealed some of its key specs. We have put together a Galaxy S25 Ultra preview to keep you updated with the latest information about the phone. Samsung will launch it alongside the Galaxy S25 and S25+ in early 2025, possibly within the first couple of weeks.
