Check out One UI 7’s new Quick Panel on Galaxy S25 Ultra

Last week at SDC, we got a detailed look at One UI 7, thanks to Samsung showcasing the Galaxy S24 Ultra running the new software. The event treated us with a close-up view of several UI changes, including the Galaxy AI menu, power menu, and notifications shade. Now, a leaker has created a render showing how the redesigned Quick Panel would look on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The upcoming flagship will run One UI 7 out of the box.

Render shows One UI 7’s Quick Panel on the redesigned Galaxy S25 Ultra

Samsung’s Ultra flagship is going curvy next year. The Galaxy S25 Ultra ditches the iconic boxy design for curved corners. Not quite as curved as most other phones, but we no longer have a sharp body. The device still looks unique, though some prefer the current model’s aesthetics. There is no phone like it, after all. Anyway, Samsung knows what it is doing. Here’s what the Galaxy S25 Ultra looks like with One UI 7’s Quick Panel.

The image above was shared on X by the prolific leaker Ice Universe. If you have been following recent leaks about One UI 7, you must have noticed the pill-shaped buttons for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and other toggles. It is the default UI language on One UI 7. Samsung decided to make these boxes curvier, moving away from rounded rectangles in One UI 6. The curvature of the current UI boxes matches perfectly with the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

This makes us wonder if the company’s hardware and software teams aren’t in sync. Or perhaps it’s an intentional change. Samsung aims to deliver a whole new Galaxy experience with One UI 7. Early signs have been promising, with industry insiders comparing the experience with Apple’s iOS 18. We will know for sure when One UI 7 enters the beta stage in December. The stable version will arrive with the Galaxy S25 series in January.
