Just when it seemed like Samsung’s One UI 7 update was finally getting back on track after a temporary halt, more frustrating news has surfaced — especially for Galaxy S24 users in India. According to official Samsung Support India, the update is still some time away, with no firm release date in sight. To make matters worse, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 may not see the update in April.
Samsung Support provides a painful answer when asked about One UI 7
After months of anticipation and repeated delays, Galaxy S24 users turned to Samsung Support India to ask the one question on everyone’s mind: When is the One UI 7 update coming? The response was disappointingly vague. Samsung’s support team said the update should arrive “by the end of April 2025,” but no exact timeline was offered.
This lack of clarity at this stage is leaving users confused and increasingly frustrated. Samsung began the One UI 7 Beta back in December 2024 and promised a stable rollout for April 2025. The support team further added that other devices will get the update “shortly thereafter,” potentially pushing back the rollout to May for the 2024 foldable lineup.
Samsung did begin the One UI 7 rollout for the Galaxy S24, Fold 6, and Flip 6 in some regions, including the US, last week. However, it later halted the update due to bugs. The company has since confirmed that the issues have been resolved, and the global rollout is expected to resume soon. But “soon” is still vague —and users are still waiting for the re-release.
At this point, it’s not just about the update — it’s about communication. Galaxy users in India and other parts of the world are calling for transparency from Samsung, especially after investing in premium devices like the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The repeated delays and noncommittal answers are damaging trust in a brand.
